If you are wanting to use homeopathy for cats for injuries and everyday ailments and you want an all round homeopathic first aidremedy, Traumeel is what you need.

Traumeel comes in several forms. The Traumeel Gel is ideal for massaging into your cat if he/she has sustained an injury, fall, sprain or after an operation or after your female kitten has been spayed.

If you apply the Traumeel Gel onto your cat it will work in two ways:-
1.) Firstly it will be absorbed through the skin into their blood stream and the surrounding area once you have applied it,

2.) Then secondly they will lick it off, so it then gets ingested which just further helps their condition.

In addition to the Traumeel Gel you can then supplement their feed or water with Traumeel Tablets or the Traumeel Drops – whichever you prefer. (We use the Traumeel Drops and add it to their water or feed – i just find this the easiest.)

Homeopathy for Cats: Common Cat Ailments Traumeel is used for

Traumeel being an ideal homeopathic remedy for cats – it can be used for all the following conditions:-

1.) Injuries – acute or cronic

2.) After operations

3.) Stressed Cats

4.) Gungey Eyes

5.) Stomach problems,

6.) Inflamed Gums, Stomatitis

To put it simply… for many everyday complaints. It is safe, extremely effective and may well save your at the vets.

Homeopathy for Cats: In addition to Traumeel

In addition to using Traumeel you can also give them:-
1.) 5ml per day of apple cider vinegar either in their feed or water
2.) and 1/2 tsp of seaweed in their food.

Finally – Their Food

The more natural their food and the less processed the more healthy your cat will be.

There are a number of options:-

1.) If you transfer over and use an organic dried complete cat food we have found these to be less craving, the salt content is less and they get less dehydrated.

I would never have thought this was the case but by carefully monitoring cats who were fed organic complete foods, the changes became very apparent.

2.) Better still – You can use and feed them raw food – we have had some success with this.

It rather depends on the supplier and the quality of the raw food. If you are making it yourself this requires quite a bit of dedication, but if you can do this the benefits of feeding them a raw diet is vastly superior to the complete processed foods that are on the market.

If you are able to buy readily prepared raw food this is another option. It will very much depend on what you are able to do and what is available in your area.

3.) Thirdly buy organic prepared food – we have found Lily’s Kitchen is a superb cat food. Vastly superior to all others on the market and very easy to feed. It comes in small tins – I cannot recommend it more highly. It is more expensive but worth the extra cost.

4.) Then if they have access to the outdoors they will also do some of their own hunting and find mice shrews etc. which actually is very nutritious for them, although it may not be too everyone’s liking.

  1. What can I use for tooth health. Recently my 4 year old sphynx had some tooth decay, lost that tooth. Please let me know what remedy I can use to improve her teeth violetldy1@aol.com thanks, Lynn

    Dear Violet,

Thank you for your email. I suggest you use the Traumeel drops to reduce the inflammation and then support this with 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar in his/her food and maybe also a seaweed supplement for cats.

Then most veterinary practises sell toothbrushes for cats and dogs. You may also need to gently brush the gums and teeth to keep them clearn.

Finally i would look into feeding raw food or at least some raw bones for them to chew on. There is a great deal of information on the net about feeding raw food for dogs and cats and the many advantages – and this is certainly worth looking into and reading up on.
