When I am consulting, whether with a patient, friend or member of our family to help treat an injury, I will address and think of how to help the person heal the injury from three different angles:-
One
I will use Traumeel and use which ever Traumeel product is the most suitable for the condition we are treating.
The ones I prescribed and use the most are:-
Two
I always believe there is a psychological aspect to every health problem.
By this I mean, I try and find out and understand what else is troubling the person. The easiest way to find this out is to look up the ailment or condition in Louise L. Hay’s book, “You Can Heal Your Life.”
You Can Heal Your Life
This book is worth its weight in gold as it can help you easily understand what else is going on… in your head that has contributed to your health problem.
The book is very well laid out. You can look up whatever the health problem is and she will give you a brief description of some of the negative emotions that are associated with a particular health problem and the positive thoughts which will help you overcome the issue.
It is quite brilliant.
What I Have Found When Doing This
I have found that by understanding ones thoughts and fears and understanding your emotional triggers, you are in a much stronger position to be able to heal yourself and prevent the problem from re-occurring.
If you address and acknowledge your emotions as well as treat the physical problem, the success results are substantially higher and repeat injuries are substantially lower, or at least this is what I have found and experienced as a practicing Naturopath.
How to Know if you Have Understood the Connection
Once you see and recognize the emotional problem – you often know you have found it when you get one of those, ”oh got it….!’ moments, as you can almost see and feel how the problem or stress in your life has ended up creating a physical problem.
Once realizing and understanding this connection, eventually you may even be able to smile at yourself for not acknowledging the emotional problem sooner…
With this new understanding of yourself and your problem, you are then able to move onwards and upwards through life with no fear or worry of this health problem reoccurring as you now understand the roots of the issue……..!
This is what this book very simply will help you to learn and understand; the emotional connection that always occurs with any physical health problem.
Three
I then consider what physical work needs to be done. This can be divided into:-
-
Physical work done to you – e.g. massage, osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture.
Physical work you need to do – e.g. Exercises, exercising, stretching etc.
The Importance of all Three Aspects
All three aspects are of equal importance and all three need to be addressed if you wish to help fully heal yourself. You can very easily chamoflage problems and half heal them but then there is no guarantee that they won’t appear again.
Finally – The Small Signs
f you listen to the small aches and pains which are small signals that things are not quite right – but if you take note of them and treat them accordingly you are I believe much more likely to avoid real illness and problems in the future.
It is so easy not to listen and to ignore small health complaints but I think by doing so we cover up problems which then become much bigger later on.
