When you are using Traumeel Injections these can be injected directly into a muscle or joint as well as into the surrounding area where pain is being experienced.

Traumeel Injections Usage

I tend to use the Traumeel Injections when there is localized pain and then support this with the ointment or gel and after this the drops or tablets.

The Benefits of Traumeel Injections Therapy

I sometimes have found that treating areas where there is pain with:-

  • massage,
  • osteopathic treatment,
  • hot and cold packs,
  • exercises
  • rest,
  • psychological factors – trying to work out why the person is suffering pain form a mental/emotional angle etc

although normally there will always be an improvement with using some or all of the above, I have found that there is an added benefit of using Traumeel injections directly into and around the site of injury, this just seems to increase the speed of healing.

I will often inject the Traumeel into 2 – 3 points around the area concerned.

Michael Sakowich L.AC, Dipl. O.M. on his blog writes on his experience with using Traumeel injections. His article is well worth reading: here is the link:- Michael Sakowich Blog

He goes on to say:-

When I began using Traumeel injections therapy on these very tenacious pain areas it was immediately obvious to me that this is an indispensable pain relieving technique with enormous benefits.

But Why Traumeel…?

The use of Traumeel is known to reduce inflammation and is a safe alternative to cortisone injections and other NSAIDS which tend to have temporary therapeutic results and so often just mask the underlying problem and can also have side effects.

Injection therapy? That’s interesting. Is there a special Traumeel product for injection? I have never heard that something like that exists. I’m so glad Traumeel works well because of the points you mentioned at the end there. The side effects of cortisone and other NSAIDS are just not worth it unless you are in severe pain.
