Vaginal Thrush – How Traumeel Helps

Just a quick post about vaginal thrush and how I have found Traumeel has helped Vaginal Thrush.

It is a most miserable condition and can be extremely uncomfortable often lasting for a number of days.

Trained and practicing as a Naturopath I know of many many natural remedies that are recommend for treating this complaint. However as good as they may sound some of these natural treatments can often take quite a while to kick in and work, and even then they don’t seem to offer very much relief, disappointing as this maybe.

Alternative Remedies

So you can use yogurt or apple cider vinegar, or just hot and cold water, or calendula or even  honey which is often recommended but not exactly very pleasant to use.

Or if you were to use the medical creams on the market I have found these can exacerbate the problem.

What We Have Found

However when we prescribed and used Traumeel I was amazed at the results. Although it can sting when you first apply it the relief can be almost immediate with improvement occurring very quickly.

How Long Should You Use Traumeel

If you do decide to try it I would recommend you continue doing so for 2-3 days after symptoms have reduced just to make sure the area has fully recovered. You can in addition still use hot and cold to the area. The easiest way of applying alternate hot and cold is in the shower, this can offer immediate relief and then follow this up with the Traumeel Ointment.

If the area becomes irritated again you can keep applying the Traumeel Ointment liberally and then do hot and cold again in the evening.

Traumeel Ointment or Traumeel Drops

Sometimes we have found the Traumeel liquid to be more soothing than the ointment. Then all you need to do is to apply the Traumeel liquid on a clean piece of cotton wool to the affected area. Again like the ointment it may sting for a short while but soon after the stinging subsides.

Conclusion

This is just another simple example of how Traumeel can help a condition quickly and safely in our experience.

Long term if you are suffering from vaginal thrush on a regular basis it will then be necessary to look at your overall health and  see your Doctor or health practitioner.
